The conductor of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra will host discussion over coffee this Friday.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 5 at the Marion Theatre, located at 50 S Magnolia Avenue, and will feature discussion about upcoming concerts by conductor Matthew Wardell.
No ticket is needed to attend this event, and it is free and open to the public.
A former Ocala City Council member representing District 4, Wardell sat for his last meeting of the council in September and will be replaced by the winner of a run-off election on November 16.
During Friday’s discussion, Wardell will review the pieces and composers that are featured at the upcoming OSO concerts, which return to Reilly Arts Center (500 NE 9th Street) on November 20 and 21.
